ER & D Program

Leaders teach.
Teaching and leading are distinguishable occupations,
but every great leader is clearly teaching –
and every great teacher is a leader.

- John Gardner

E R & D Classes through Anderson University:
Anderson University partners with the Anderson Community School Corporation (ACSC) and the Anderson Federation of Teachers (AFT) to offer graduate credit for professional development through their Educational Research and Dissemination (ER & D) program. Trained nationally in specific disciplines, ER&D teachers are practicing classroom teachers who meet with their colleagues during selected days of the year to provide leadership and training in the selected discipline. These courses are limited to certified teachers of the Anderson Community School Corporation who have properly applied and been accepted for participation in the ER & D program.
For more information on ER&D visit www.aft.org/topics/teacher-quality/erd.htm.  Local ACSC teachers may contact Elise Matthews at ematthews@acsc.net.
