The Anderson University graduate education program encompasses several distinct areas of study. Course work is available for a master's degree, licensing, and professional development.
The School of Education offers a 36-hour Master of Education degree with a focus in either Curriculum and Instruction or Leadership and Administration.
In addition, classes are offered for special education and English as a new language (ENL). ENL licensing is available, and these courses can be applied to the master's degree.
The transition to teaching program, Teach for Indiana Program (TIP), also falls under the graduate program. This is a full-time program designed for those with a B.A. to be able to enter the teaching field in one year with Indiana licensure. These credits can then be applied to a M.Ed. degree if the student continues at Anderson University.
Evening and summer courses are offered on the Anderson University campus and at the Anderson University Flagship Center, in addition to some online or hybrid style courses.
