Leadership in Educational Administration and Development (LEAD) Program

The mission of Anderson University's Graduate Studies in Education is to provide relevant and engaging experiences for educators who aspire to expand their professional repertoire and excel as classroom and school leaders. Founded on the principles of Anderson University, the program is dedicated to helping educators in their quest to develop knowledge, understanding, and useful skills, with a heart for service, personal values, and Christian faith.

Anderson University's Leadership in Educational Administration and Development (LEAD) Program is a high-quality, comprehensive, school-based, and practical program designed for educators who desire to start or continue their studies in school leadership and administration.

Classes Designed for the Working Educator

  • Classes are taught by highly qualified instructors with real-world experience in the content areas and school leadership.
  • Fall and spring classes meet one night each week for 12 weeks.
  • Students collaborate on projects inside and outside the classroom.
  • Summer courses can usually be completed in two weeks or less.
  • Competitive tuition and fees.
  • Easy access to classes and parking.

Degree Emphasis

  • Offered for master's degree, principal licensure, or license renewal.
  • A cohort model designed for the working educator.
  • Can be completed in three years.
  • Tuition (hourly rate) locks in at the time of the first fall class.
  • Transfer up to six approved elective credit hours from other institutions.
  • Transfer up to nine approved core credit hours.
