Does this program lead to a master’s degree?

The TIP program culminates in a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree. The TIP program consists of two phases of professional education courses and associated field experiences. After competing Phase I, you may begin Phase II a 24-month program culminating in a Master of Education degree. Our two-phase model is designed to get the pre-service teacher into the classroom after one year, and then bring the experience of the in-service teacher back to the university for continued professional development and support.
