NON-THESIS TRACK Courses (45 semester hours)
The following gives a thumbnail of the MTS degree, non-thesis track. For more detailed information and course descriptions, refer to the current seminary catalog.
A student enrolled in the non-thesis track seminary degree is required to successfully complete a comprehensive examination in Bible, theology, and history, in addition to the courses listed below:

BIST 5110 The Literature and History of the Old Testament I
BIST 5120 The Literature and History of the Old Testament II
THST 5250 Constructive Theology II
BIST 6210 The Literature and History of the New Testament I
THST 6200 Constructive Theology III
HCUS 6000 History of the Christian Church
BIST 6220 The Literature and History of the New Testament II
HCUS 6010 The Church of God Reformation Movement or 6020 (Denominational) History and Background
HCUS 7200 Biblical Foundations of Mission
THST 7330 Theological Ethics
THFE 7500 Capstone: Practice of Ministry/Integrative Project
3 electives selected by the student based on professional and educational interests and needs
