Endowed Scholarship Established

08-21-2008

Faculty and staff members of Anderson University School of Theology covenanted together to establish an endowed fund to help underwrite tution costs for seminary students.

This fund will be known as the Anderson University School of Theology Faculty & Staff Endowed Scholarship Fund. It will help reduce the need for students to take out loans, enabling graduates better to serve in places where God calls.

The initial amount of the fund will be $10,000, and it will continue to grow as faculty and staff make monthly contributions to it. Earnings of the endowment will be distributed to students by the Financial Aid Committee.

As stewards of their financial resources, members of the faculty and staff want to be found faithful, and they believe the investment in future leaders of the church will be pleasing to God and beneficial to his people.
