The mission of the Anderson University School of Theology is to educate at the graduate professional level both men and women for Christian ministry. To this end, we are committed to being a community of scholars who are church-related, and in whose character and servanthood the following are vitally linked: biblical faith, academic integrity, Christian spirituality, love for persons; and a responsible relation with the created order and all humankind.

SOT Enrollment Growth

10-09-2008

The official enrollment figures are in for this fall semester, and the School of Theology is pleased to report its tenth consecutive year of enrollment growth.

The official head count for this semester is 161, the largest in more than ten years, and a 7% increase over a year ago. Dean David Sebastian attributes this unprecedented growth to tireless efforts from the seminary's director of advancement David Neidert, the director of the Doctor of Ministry Degree James Lewis, and the director of distance education John Aukerman.

Most of the 161 students are enrolled in the Master of Divinity Degree, with the others enrolled in three other master's degrees and the doctoral degree.
