ONLINE ONE-TIME PAYMENT/PAYMENT PLAN :

Here are instructions for accessing your Nelnet account with Anderson University:

***We recommend using Firefox or Chrome browsers on a computer (rather than a phone/tablet) and ensuring that pop-ups are allowed by your browser.***

  • Log into Access AU Academics.
  • There are two ways to access Nelnet.
    • Click on the “Account Balance & Payment” tile. (If Nelnet does not open in a new tab, double-check that pop-ups are allowed by your browser)
    • Click on the “Student Center” tile. Scroll down to the finance section and click on the link titled “NBS-Make A Payment”
  •  If this is your first log-in, you will be prompted to create an account.
    • You will be asked for basic contact information and to set up two security questions and a 4-digit PIN to regain access if you are ever locked out of your account.
  •  Once set-up is completed, you should be at the Nelnet home screen.
    • To make a one-time payment, click on “Make a Payment.”
You can either pay via eCheck (free) or credit/debit card (2.85% transaction fee).
    • To set up a monthly payment plan, click on “Set up Payment Plan.”

Monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from either a checking/savings account (free) or credit/debit card (2.75% transaction fee).

There is an enrollment fee of $50 per semester, and payments are set up to process on the 5th of each month for the duration of one semester. If you would like the monthly payment date adjusted, please contact the business office.

Additionally, on the Nelnet home page (in the bottom right corner) is the link to “Add an Authorized Party.” This allows students to give other individuals the ability to create their own login information on Nelnet for future use. The authorized user will then begin to receive all future billing notices via email.
