Lil' Sibs Weekend 2012 - February 10-12

Friday, February 10
  • Welcome and Registration
    Rice Hall Lobby 6 - 9 p.m. Individual t-shirts & package deals available for purchase. Cheap Thrills and Encore package deal available for $5.  An admissions representative will also be present if you have any admissions questions.
  • Open Night Swim
    3 - 7 p.m. in the Natatorium
  • Cheap Thrills
    7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. in Reardon. $3 at the door.
  • Novus Dux Midnight Skate
    12:30 a.m. - 2:30 a.m., Roll Arena. Transportation is not provided, but directions will be available at Welcome and Registration ($5).

Saturday, February 11
  • Breakfast and Cartoons
    9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
    Come to the lobby for Saturday morning cartoons and a free breakfast served by the RAs!
  • Special Lunch
  • Open Swim
    12-4 p.m. in the Natatorium
  • Men's Basketball vs. Franklin
    Photo booth with Rodney the Raven
    O.C. Lewis Gym, 3 p.m. ($5 non-students)
  • Mocha Joe's and Game Room
    Open 2 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.
  • Encore
    8 p.m. and 10 p.m. in Reardon ($3 at the door).

Sunday, February 12
  • Take your sib to Church
  • Sunday Brunch in the Marketplace from 11:45 a.m. - 1:45 p.m.

FAQ

Can siblings of the opposite gender sleep in the dorms?
Siblings under the age of 7 are permitted to stay in any of the dorms. For children 8 years and older, arrangements should be made so the lil' sib can stay in a dorm with students of his or her same gender.

How does the little sibling eat all weekend?
If the students choose to eat on campus, they can use the older sib’s meal plan to "swipe" in the little sib. If they choose to eat off campus, it is up to the family to provide the money.

What if there is an emergency with the lil’ sib?
Please give all emergency information, insurance, and phone numbers to the student that is housing the lil’ sib.

What is the Lil' Sibs Package?
Package - $10
Includes T-Shirt, Cheap Thrills/ Encore Duo Ticket, Late-Night Skate Ticket (skate rental not included) , and Admission to Men’s Basketball game.

  • Package is for Sibs only; not AU students
  • Package includes T-shirt and bracelets

    Bracelet allows sib free entrance to cheap thrills, skate night (skate rental is still $2.50), encore, and basketball games.
