AU drops pair of volleyball matches at Hope

The Anderson University volleyball team lost to Spring Arbor 3-0 and Hope 3-0 on Friday in Grand Rapids, Mich.
The Ravens lost to Spring Arbor by scores of 30-19, 31-29, 30-23 and to Hope by a count of 30-15, 30-19 and 30-24.
Whitney Osborn led the Ravens with 19 kills, 15 digs, six blocks and two service aces. Jessica Berlin had 16 digs, 13 kills and Laura Baden 14 kills and four blocks.
Carol Weatherford had 13 kills, nine blocks and Kate McCollum had 12 digs and three blocks. Caitlin Morency had 33 digs and Kasey Bollier had 58 assists. Alyssa Clawson added 12 digs and three service aces.
AU (14-12) plays Aquinas and Calvin on Saturday in the final two matches in Michigan.
