Curry wins HCAC weekly football award

Anderson junior linebacker Travon Curry was named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week in football.
Curry led the Ravens with 11 tackles and had a 64-yard interception return for a touchdown as Anderson beat Hanover for the first time since 2001. Curry ranks third on AU with 58 tackles this season and has also chipped in 8.0 tackles for loss and 4.0 sacks this fall.
The Ravens (3-6, 2-4 HCAC) will end the 2007 season at Manchester (3-6, 1-5 HCAC) as the two rival’s battle for the Bronze Ball.
