Golf team 6th after first round of AU Invitational

The Anderson University women’s golf team was in sixth place after the first day of their own two-day Invitational on Saturday at Killbuck Golf Course.
Kendria Stephens shot an 87 to lead the Ravens. Kate Timm and Stef Francis each carded 88s for AU. Carrie Thomas rounded out the team scoring with a 100.
DePauw shot a team total of 312 to lead Franklin by 20 shots. Rose-Hulman (348) and Transylvania (348) were tied for third, followed by Wash & Jeff (354), AU (364), Manchester (373) and Hanover (419).
The final round will be played on Sunday at Killbuck Golf Course at 11 a.m.
