Men’s Tennis finishes 7th at Wabash Tournament

The Anderson University men’s tennis team finished seventh in the eight-team Kerry Seward Memorial Invitational tournament on Saturday and Sunday in Crawfordsville.

Freshman Jake Tandy finished fifth in No. 4 singles to lead the Ravens. Tandy won his first round match over Darut Prasertsri from Earlham 6-2, 6-1 before falling in the next two contests to players from Marian and Transylvania.

The No. 3 doubles team of Kyle Watts and Kyle Mountsier also finished fifth. They won their first round match 8-2 over Gotama/Prasertsri of Earlham 8-2 before losing to a doubles pair from Transylvania and Rose-Hulman in the final two matches.

AU (1-1, 1-1 HCAC) travels to Defiance on Saturday to play a three-way meet with Mt. St. Joseph at 10 a.m.
