Osborn, Berlin named to HCAC volleyball team

Anderson University’s Whitney Osborn and Jessica Berlin have been named to the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference volleyball 1st Team for the 2007 season.
Osborn led the Ravens this season with 404 kills and also had 123 digs, 76 blocks, 30 assists and 15 service aces. She was second on the team in hitting percentage at .206. The senior was named 2nd Team in 2006.
Berlin is a repeat 1st Team selection from last season despite missing three matches this season with an injury. The sophomore was second on the team with 205 kills, 31 service aces and 278 digs.
Sophomore Laura Baden was named to the 2nd Team this season. She finished with third on the team with 266 kills and second with 107 blocks.
AU finished the season 17-14 overall and 6-2 in the HCAC, good for third place in both the regular season and conference tournament.
