Twenty-nine Anderson University athletes have been honored as Academic All-Conference for the 2007 fall season by the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference.
Women cross country runners on the team were Abigail Cochran (So., 3.686), Stephanie Dylus (Sr., 3.748), Erika Gilts (Jr., 3.589), Gwen Kemple (Sr., 3.828), Laura Lash (Sr., 3.775), Leeann Lower (Sr., 3.879) and Tammy Michaelis (Sr., 3.727).
Men’s soccer players were Stephen Harkleroad (So., 3.976), Dane Masuda (Jr., 3.571), Chad Schubert (So., 3.866), Matt Smith (So., 3.595), Jason White (So., 3.699) and women’s soccer athletes were Kelsey Alcorn (Jr., 3.611), Carlie Clark (So., 3.618), Katie Lopolito (So., 3.968), Holly McBroom (Sr., 3.784) and Mary Schueneman (Jr., 3.778).
Women’s tennis athletes were Mandy Hackney (Sr., 3.511), Rachel Koontz (Jr., 4.000), Jessie Rigby (So., 3.882) and Emily Thompson (Jr., 3.979).
Men’s cross country were Dan DeYoung (Sr., 3.549), Sean Hudson (Sr., 3.696) and Matt Ingalls (Sr., 3.879).
Football players were Josh Deeter (Sr., 3.512) and Zach Williams (Jr., 3.563); volleyball were Laura Baden (So., 3.662) and Tara Denham (So., 3.691) and Carrie Thomas (Jr., 4.000) was from the women’s golf team.
