Women’s tennis team drops pair of 7-2 decisions

Anderson University women’s tennis team lost to Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference foe Manchester College 7-2 on Tuesday. The Ravens returned home to play Goshen on Wednesday, also dropping a 7-2 decision.
Against Manchester, Mandy Hackney and Jessie Rigby teamed up to win at No. 2 doubles 8-5 and Emily Thompson and Katelyn Boes were victorious at No. 3 doubles by a score of 8-6 to account for the two Raven wins.

Against Goshen, Rachel Makin won at No. 1 singles 4-1, retired and Rigby won at No. 4 singles 4-6, 6-4 and 1-0 to account for the two AU points.

AU (5-8, 4-4 HCAC) travels to Huntington on Monday at 4 p.m.
