AU women dominate Robert Morris in soccer

The Anderson University women’s soccer team shutout Robert Morris 4-0 on Wednesday in Springfield, Ill.
Jill Davis and Mary Deitrich each scored a pair of goals and had an assist in the game on six shots each. Krysta Altvater, Abbey Witt and Autumn Tolliver each had an assist as AU built a 3-0 lead at halftime.
AU outshot Robert Morris 29-1 in the game and also had a 5-0 edge in corner kicks. Altvater and Witt also had four shots each and Heidi Lanzer earned the shutout in goal with one save.
AU (5-7, 1-1 HCAC) hosts Bluffton on Saturday for Parents Day. The game will be carried live on the internet broadcast at 1 p.m.
