Briscoe wins HCAC Men’s Soccer weekly award

Anderson University’s David Briscoe has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Player of the Week on Monday.
The freshman midfielder scored the game-winning goal in AU’s 1-0 victory over Bluffton on Saturday. He added a goal and an assist in the Ravens’ 6-1 victory over Robert Morris on Wednesday in Springfield, Ill.
Briscoe leads the Ravens with four goals and is second in points with 11 for the season.
AU (6-7, 3-0 HCAC) hosts conference rival Manchester on Wednesday. The game will be carried live on the internet broadcast at 4 p.m.
