RH defeats men’s tennis team at HCAC; Turner honored

mtennis2.jpgThe Anderson University men’s tennis team lost to Rose-Hulman 5-1 in the first round at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday in Indianapolis.

Tim Cantwell and Chris Rowe accounted for the lone Raven point at No. 1 doubles. The duo defeated Michael Schoumacher and Scott Grubbs 8-5.

Nate Turner was named All-Conference for the 2008 season. Turner played No. 2 singles and No. 3 doubles during the season for the Ravens.

The Ravens finished the season 3-5 overall and 3-5 in the HCAC.
