Men’s track team wins five-team AU Invitational

The Anderson University men’s track and field team won their own five-team invitational on Saturday at Macholtz Stadium, defeating runner-up Goshen 173-143.
Troy Pryor led the Ravens with a pair of victories in the 800 meters (1:58.52) and the 3,000 steeplechase (10:21.53).
Ryan Fultz won the high jump with a personal best height of 6-8 1/4. That is also a national provisional qualifying height.
Other winners for the Ravens were E.J. Cripe in the 100 (11.17), Mark Price in the 400 (49.99), Tony Pryor in the 1,500 (4:11.52) and Nic Huffman in the javelin (175-3). The Ravens also won the 400 relay in a time of 43.96.
The 1,600 relay team finished second as well as Mark Price in the 200, Sean Hudson in the 800, Tanner Johnson in the 1,500, Andrew Rodriguez in the 110 hurdles, John Rigsby in the pole vault, Josh Randolph in the long jump and Cory Boyland in the shot put.
AU runs in the Little State meet at IUPUI on Friday and Saturday at 9 a.m.
