Raven men finish 3rd at Fred Wilt Indoor meet

Cripe_web.jpgThe Anderson University men’s track and field team finished third in the eight-team Fred Wilt Memorial Indoor Invitational on Saturday at the Kardatzke Wellness Center.

Vincennes won the meet with 154 points, followed by Calvin (94) and Anderson (64.5).

Sean Hudson and Tony Pryor led the Ravens with individual victories. Hudson won the mile in a time of 4:21.43 and Pryor was first in the 1,000 in a time of 2:33.52. The 1,600 relay team also won for the Ravens in a time of 3:26.62.

Other top five finishers were E.J. Cripe in the 55 meters (4th), Garrett Zick in the 200 (4th) and 400 (4th), Kyle Carey in the mile (2nd), Troy Pryor in the 3,000 steeplechase (5th), Josh Randolph in the long jump (5th) and Cory Boyland in the shot put (3rd).

AU travels to the DePauw Indoor Qualifier on Friday at 5 p.m.
