Softball team swept in final two games at IU-Southeast

The Anderson University softball team dropped its final two games of the Grenadier Invitational on Saturday afternoon, losing to Judson 12-3 and IU-Southeast 5-4 in five innings in New Albany.
Against Judson, Erin Garrity led the offense with two hits and an RBI, including a double. Julia Siefring and Kelly Shuck had RBIs and Jessica Alsman added a double.
Against IU-Southeast, the hosts scored two runs in the fifth and final inning as the game was called due to darkness.
Alsman led the Ravens with two hits and three RBI, including a double. Chelsie Haines added an RBI single in the fifth inning to give the Ravens a 4-3 lead.
AU (5-11) hosts Franklin on Tuesday in the HCAC and home opener at 3 p.m.
