Alumna lands dream job at hospital in Fort Wayne

Learn how Megan Kruse's experience at Anderson University helped her land her dream job at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

Megan Kruse walked across the stage in Kardatzke Wellness Center on commencement day at Anderson University not too long ago.

A 2012 alumna, Kruse was a nursing major and member of the softball team while at AU. In August 2012, she began working in the cardiovascular intensive care unit at with Lutheran Hospital, which is based in Fort Wayne, Ind., and specializes in cardiac disorders and postsurgical patients.

The Saint John’s Bible exhibit coming to Anderson University

For the first time, Anderson University will be participating in The Saint John’s Bible exhibit program, “A Year With The Saint John’s Bible,” where students, faculty, staff, and visitors can explore seven volumes of the hand-illuminated Bible. The exhibit opens on Monday, August 25 and will close March 6, 2015.

AU political science boasts high law school admission rate

Over the past 10 years, Anderson University political science graduates have a law school admission rate of 93 percent.

Every year, more than 50,000 students across the United States turn in applications for admission to law school. Over the past 10 years, only 66 percent of all applicants to ABA-approved law schools were admitted, according to data from the Law School Admission Council.

For graduates from the Anderson University political science program, that would be a significant decrease.

Anderson University alum lands social work dream job after graduation

Andi Ley, an Anderson University 2013 graduate, landed her dream job as the community liaison for Madison County with the Children’s Bureau. One month after graduation, Ley began working with the Community Partners for Child Safety to help families become better connected with their community and the resources within. Ley’s journey to her dream job began at AU as a social work major.
