Anderson University junior nursing student Hannah Welch will be spending eight weeks this summer working as a nursing intern with the Nicaragua Resource Network (NRN).

The Alpha Chi National College Honor Society (NCHS) named Anderson University’s chapter of Alpha Chi a Star Chapter. This is the 19th consecutive year in which AU has earned this distinction.

“Alpha Chi is an academic national honor society that promotes academic excellence and character,” says Yardley Collett, president of Alpha Chi and a senior political science major. This honor society is exclusive to private universities and small state universities.

This year marks the 75th anniversary of Warner Sallman's "Head of Christ".

Anderson University possesses over 140 pieces of art created by the late artist Warner Sallman. One of these works is the iconic image of Jesus known as “Head of Christ.” This year marks the 75th anniversary of the painting’s creation. The university will hold a special celebration in the fall of 2015 to commemorate this piece.

JaLise Haney (BA ’15) has been on the front-line at Anderson University in bringing culture and diversity to campus for more than two years. Inspired by her passion for God, culture and racial reconciliation, Haney, a social work major, credits the Tri-S programs, liberal arts courses and numerous faculty members with helping to shape her passion.

The Anderson University Nursing Class of 2015 spent two weeks serving in Belize to gain medical experience and cultural competence.

Cultural competence and service are key concepts emphasized by the faculty in Anderson University’s School of Nursing. As a practical means of experiencing these concepts, nursing majors are required to participate in a medical mission trip.

The Class of 2015 spent almost two weeks serving in Belize. Not only was this trip a highlight of their college experience and education, but it will also benefit their future careers.

King’s Men Quartet reunites and reflects on lifelong experiences and friendships

The King’s Men Quartet reunited for a 57th reunion in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The Anderson University King’s Men Quartet, a group of students that traveled the country singing for congregations, represented Anderson College to thousands of people during 1957 and 1958. Recently, the quartet reunited for their 57th year reunion in Colorado Springs to reminisce on their college days, share stories, pray, sing, and worship. At the reunion, the group sang in two churches and created more memories together in the Rocky Mountains.
