Ravens finish 5th at HCAC tennis tourney

The Anderson University men’s tennis team finished fifth on Saturday in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference men’s tennis tournament at IUPUI in Indianapolis.
Jeremy Zerkle (No. 2) and Aaron Dicken (No. 5) led the Ravens with third place finishes in singles play. Zerkle finished fifth in No. 1 doubles with Cameron Scott while Dicken was fourth with Blake Burke at No. 2 doubles.
Tim Cantwell (No. 4) and Brad Simcoe (No. 6) both finished fourth in singles and teammed up to finish fourth in No. 3 doubles.
Other finishers in singles were Scott (7th at No.1) and Burke (8th at No. 3).
Scott and Zerkle were named HCAC All-Conference for the 2006 men’s tennis season.
