In 2001, Dr. Michael Frank came to Anderson University to teach political science. Just two weeks after starting at AU, the country experienced the tragedy that occurred on September 11, 2001. Frank hardly knew anyone at the university, and he was put in a position to try to reassure and comfort the students. The event led Frank to realize how united the campus was and how welcome he was.
Almost 12 years later, Frank has the same feeling about the campus.
