For the fifth year, Anderson University students presented their work at Scholars' Day. The event, which showcased over 40 student research projects this year, was held in the Reardon Auditorium lobby at the end of the semester.

In anticipation of the Indianapolis Colts Training Camp, Anderson University is seeking 200 individuals to serve as volunteers. The goal of volunteers serving at camp is to create a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors to campus.

Anderson University alumni were invited to the Indiana Statehouse for their regular Alumni Links Breakfast on April 16. Unlike other breakfast gatherings, however, this one took place inside the office of Indiana Gov. Mike Pence.
Alumni Links Breakfasts were started about three years ago by the Office of Alumni Relations to encourage a stronger local alumni network. The breakfasts are held at various locations in Indiana to cater to alumni living in or around the state.
Two Anderson University students won awards for best research paper presented in their discipline at the Alpha Chi Honor Society National Convention in St. Louis at the end of March.
Alpha Chi is an honor society for upperclassmen college students around the nation. According to the Alpha Chi website, “Membership is limited to the top 10 percent of an institution’s junior, senior and graduate students. Invitation to membership comes only through an institutional chapter."
Junior political science major and business administration minor Yardley Collett earned the Best Position Paper award at the North America Model United Nations (NAMUN) Conference in February. Collett and the students of the Anderson University Model United Nations (MUN) team traveled to Toronto to attend the conference in February.
Kaufman's win was the first time the winner was not a member of Blake Shelton's or Adam Levine's team.

Anna Rayis, Student United Way president at Anderson University and a 2014 graduate of the university, received the award at the national Community Leaders Conference on Thursday at Gaylord National Convention Center in Washington, D.C.
This award recognizes outstanding student leadership of a Student United Way in its work to give back and impact the community.
