Anderson University’s Sarah Guffy has been named to the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conferenece women’s soccer 1st Team on Tuesday.
The junior played in all 17 games this season, leading the Ravens with seven goals, 14 points and 60 shots this season.
Katie Rocholl and Wynne O’Neal were named to the 2nd Team and Emileigh Conwell was selected for the All-Sportsmanship Team.
Rocholl had one goal on eight shots and O’Neal had an assist this season for the Ravens.
AU finished the season 3-14 overall and 0-9 in the HCAC.

The Anderson University women’s soccer team lost to Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference opponent Transylvania University 7-0 on Saturday in the season finale for Senior Day.
Transylvania outshot AU 34-4 in the game and had a 6-2 edge in corner kicks.
Jennifer Matters and Sarah Guffy each had two shots to lead the Ravens in the game and Emileigh Conwell had 15 saves in goal.
AU finishes the season 3-14 overall and 0-9 in the HCAC.

The Anderson University women’s soccer team lost to Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference foe Manchester College 3-0 on Tuesday in North Manchester.
After a scoreless first half, the Spartans scored three goals in the first five minutes of the second half to take control of the game.
Emileigh Conwell had three saves in goal for the Ravens, who were outshot 11-0 in the contest.
AU (3-13, 0-8 HCAC) finishes the season against Transylvania on Saturday for Senior Day at 3 p.m.

Emileigh Conwell had nine saves in goal and Wynne O’Neal had one shot to lead the Ravens.
AU (3-12, 0-7 HCAC) travels to Manchester on Tuesday at 4 p.m.

The Anderson University women’s soccer team lost to Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference foe Rose-Hulman 4-1 on a rainy and cold night at Macholtz Stadium.
After a Rose-Hulman goal, Sarah Guffy scored the Ravens’ goal in the 39th minute to tie the game. Wynne O’Neal got the assist on the goal. Guffy led the Ravens with four shots in the game.
The Engineers put the game away with three goals in a seven-minute span of the second half.
Rose-Hulman outshot AU 26-6 in the game and also had a 12-2 advantage in corner kicks. Emileigh Conwell had 11 saves in goal for the Ravens.
AU (3-11, 0-6 HCAC) travels to Hanover on Saturday at 1 p.m.

The Anderson University women’s soccer team lost at Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference opponent Mt. St. Joseph 8-1 on Saturday at Schueler Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Sarah Guffy scored the Ravens goal in the game in the 23rd minute. Wynne O’Neal led the Ravens with three shots and Guffy added two shots in the game.
Mt. St. Joseph outshot AU 34-7 in the game and had a 9-3 edge in corner kicks. Shantol McMahon had eight saves in goal for the Ravens.
AU (3-10, 0-5 HCAC) hosts Rose-Hulman on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

The Anderson University women’ s soccer team defeated Ohio Christian University 2-1 in overtime on Wednesday night in Carroll, Ohio.
Sarah Guffy scored the game-winning goal with 1:25 left in the first overtime on a penalty kick after a hand ball in the box. Guffy also scored the tying goal in the 77th minute. Guffy led the team with 16 shots, including 10 on goal in the contest.
AU outshot Ohio Christian 31-11 in the game and had an 8-1 advantage in corner kicks. Shantol McMahon had three saves in goal for the Ravens.
Tiffany Vega had six shots for the Ravens while Jennifer Matters added four shots and Wynne O’Neal chipped in with three shots.
AU (3-9) travels to Mt. St. Joseph on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Franklin outshot AU 27-6 and also had a 4-2 advantage in corner kicks. Shantol McMahon had two saves and Emileigh Conwell had eight saves in goal for the Ravens.
