The Anderson University women’s track and field team finished third in the 13-team Fred Wilt Memorial Indoor Invitational on Saturday at the Kardatzke Wellness Center.
Alex Friske was the lone winner for the Ravens. She won the 60 meter hurdles in a time of 9.33. She was also the runner-up in the 200 meters in 27.16. Her time in the hurdles ranks 31st in the nation.
Other runner-up finishes for the Ravens were Sarah Bromagem in the 800 meters (2:23.12), Candace DeLong in the mile (5:16.59), Emily Radke in the shot put (40-3 1/2) and the 1,600 relay team of Alisha Sink, Heather Quinlan, Bromagem and DeLong (4:18.12).
Radke’s distance in the shot put was a season-best and she ranks 57th in the nation. DeLong’s time was a personal best in the mile.
DePauw won the meet with 108 points, followed by Centre (70) and Anderson (61).
AU competes at the Washington University Invitational on Mar. 23 at 11 a.m.
