After serving students at Anderson University for 13 years, Carolyn Caldwell, adjunct professor of Accounting in the Falls School of Business, recently announced her retirement at the end of the 2008-2009 school year.
Five teams of 5 students on a team have been working to help a local business for the past 6 months, and will be presenting their work at the annual AU Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) and the Flagship Enterprise Center Consulting Services Showcase. A panel of local business leaders will evaluate the success of each team and declare a winner, with the top team receiving a $500 cash prize.
Anderson University will welcome renown peacemaker Father Gregory Boyle, founder of Los Angeles-based Homeboy Industries, an organization that gives jobs to young men and women who agree to give up the gang life. Boyle will speak to Anderson University on Tuesday, March 10, at 10 a.m. during chapel/convocation in Reardon Auditorium.
