Spence with the 2010 Distinguished Alumni Award, Dr. Cassandra Trentaz with the 2010 Distinguished Alumni Award, and Dr. Merle D. Strege with the 2010 Distinguished Service Award at the annual SOT Alumni & Friends Annual Awards Luncheon on Monday, June 28.

She's using a post-graduation internship to enter into a career that is relatively new to the field of family science.
For most professors, a normal day includes lectures in classrooms, walking back and forth between buildings, a few office hours and grading endless piles of papers. While this is a typical routine for most, some professors have an amazing opportunity to teach in a more atypical environment.
More than 600 students participated in the 2009-2010 Residence Hall Quality of Life Survey, which was conducted online. Nearly half of the respondents were freshmen, while about 31 percent were sophomores, 17 percent juniors, and 6 percent seniors.
