Anderson University students in the Field, Soundstage, and Postproduction class recently teamed up with scriptwriters from the Motion Picture Scriptwriting class to produce two short films. From writing the storyline to filming and editing the production, the collaboration gave students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with full creative control over their films.

Anderson University will host Paul: A Musical Journey to kick-off the North American Convention of the Church of God at Reardon Auditorium on Friday, June 24, at 7 p.m. The musical, written by Anderson University alum Dr. Charles Myricks, Jr. is the life changing story of the Apostle Paul. The show has garnered rave reviews and received standing ovations at every performance since it opened in Akron, Ohio, in January 2005.

When Becky Archibald (BA ’83) last spent an extended period of time at Anderson University, she left as a graduate excited about making a name and a career for herself. Thanks to the foundation laid by AU and her work ethic and talents, Archibald now possesses a master’s degree in piano performance from California State University at Long Beach, numerous awards, and a wealth of knowledge about a career in music.
