Best known as the original lead singer of Dove Award-winning group Sonicflood, celebrated worship leader and solo artist Jeff Deyo releases his fifth worship album, Moving Mountains, on Aug. 7. The project seeks to encourage listeners to persevere in faith and trust God’s goodness, even, and especially, in the midst of hardship and difficulty.
The reasons for a football coach to take any head coaching job are many.
Factors can include anything from the opportunity to be a head coach for the first time to wanting to be the person known for “carrying on a winning tradition” or “building the foundation of a winning tradition.” There are aesthetic reasons like the trees on campus to practical reasons such as the institutions academic reputation.

A group of Anderson University students studying Peace and Conflict Transformation (PACT) traveled to Chicago for a peace conference this spring. The North Park Justice Summit and Chicago Reload combined the passion and focus of ministry with social justice. The conference focused in part on urban ministry and issues of income and race.
Anderson University junior youth ministry major Brooke Courtney recently traveled to Israel through DaySpring Baptist Church in Wisconsin. The experience positively reaffirmed her passion for youth ministry.
“I learned so much about God during my visit in the Holy Land,” said Courtney. “I know that the cultural understanding I developed while there will benefit me in my ministry after college.”

The Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF) has been an integral opportunity for the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance at Anderson University for many years. In addition to supporting students through lectures, competitions, and performances, the nationally acclaimed festival recently recognized AU associate professor of music Laurel Goetzinger for her outstanding work.
For many Anderson University students, the best way to figure out which career they want to pursue is to complete an internship. An internship allows a college student to take a step out of the classroom and into the real world, getting hands-on experience of what is being taught in the classroom and putting it into practice.
