Leonard Wells finished fourth in the shot put with a distance of 47-9 on Jan. 24 at Indiana Wesleyan. He also threw the weight 40-7.
Tanner Johnson had a personal best of 1:25.32 in the 600 meters.

“It was good to see more of our people in action this weekend,” said AU coach Scott Wilson. “We had a little over half of our squad. With a good mixture of schools from all divisions we were exposed to a good level of competition.”

Anderson University track and field athletes Gwen Kemple and Ryan Fultz competed at the NCAA Div. III Track and Field Championships on Thursday and Friday at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
The Anderson University men’s track and field team saw its streak of 13 consecutive championships come to an end as they finished second in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships on Friday and Saturday at Macholtz Stadium.
