We began offering the Anderson MBA program to our employees more than five years ago. Today, we have several MBA’s who have graduated and more in the pipeline. Our high-potential people compete for the spots we offer as it is perceived to be a great benefit. From the company’s standpoint, it is not simply a retention method but a way that we develop people for our future.

Having a scientific academic background and working as a research scientist, my job focus is primarily technical. The Anderson University MBA program has given me the appropriate business skills to help me advance my career. Instead of solely understanding the research and development side of our products, I now know and appreciate the various business requirements and steps that a product must go through before reaching our customers’ hands.
The Anderson program is well-suited to the working professional who finds himself balancing a number of important priorities — work, family, and community — while remaining committed to personal professional development.
One reason I chose the AU MBA program was for its convenience, both in location (i.e., there were several locations to choose from) and timing (i.e., I was easily able to fit the class schedule into a very busy working schedule). The program was accommodating to my already heavy workload, while also challenging, making it the best of both worlds.
Two of my goals in pursuing an MBA were to further my business education in all disciplines (accounting, finance, operations, etc.) and to gain exposure to other critical thinkers through networking. The Anderson University MBA helped me achieve my goals.
