Doug True, MBA grad

trueTwo of my goals in pursuing an MBA were to further my business education in all disciplines (accounting, finance, operations, etc…) and to gain exposure to other critical thinkers through networking. The Anderson University MBA helped me achieve my goals.

My top reason for choosing the Falls School of Business at Anderson University was accreditation. (more…)

Jerry Landers, MBA grad

Jerry-Landers-MBARaising a family, working full time and going to school full time can be very challenging, but the professors at Anderson University did a great job of helping me find ways to incorporate my school projects into the day to day responsibilities I already faced. Being able to work on one project for both reasons really helped me address time management issues, and it helped me apply academic principles in my work life. (more…)

Carrie St. Thomas, MBA grad

Carrie-St.-ThomasMy experience at Anderson University was truly what I hoped and expected it to be. I am now Marketing Operations Manager at my company, a job I would never have been considered for without my MBA. I chose Anderson University because with my strong science and engineering background, I needed an MBA program that could maximize my learning in a class room environment with a small amount of students so I could have the freedom to ask questions and get support as needed. Troy Bethards, DBA grad

Troy-BethardsI found the DBA program at Anderson University to be an incredibly rewarding experience. First, the program assisted me in integrating the Christian faith in the courses I teach. Second, I think many educators strive to be more effective in their teaching – I know I do. As such, I found the AU DBA program instrumental in enhancing my effectiveness in the classroom. And while there are many other positive things I could communicate, I would like to conclude by stating that it has been very helpful that the DBA required me to enroll in foundation courses outside of my concentration in finance. Michael E. Cafferky, DBA grad

cafferkyI am truly grateful for the opportunity to have studied at Anderson University Falls School of Business between 2003 – 2008. This is one of the highlights of my life’s experience. The memories of good times studying together in a supportive community still warm my soul. The flame that was lit inside my mind and heart for the integration of faith and learning in business continues to grow in intensity as the issues we addressed in doctoral coursework and my independent reading fuel the desire to understand more deeply and more completely how the Christian worldview shapes the theory and practice of business. This is truly rich vein of study calling out for more attention. (more…)

Kelli Knisley, 2000 accounting grad

knisleyRight now I’m a Partner at a small CPA firm on the westside of Indy, Rhodes Knisley CPAs. I focus on preparing individual tax returns. I pray that I am being “salt and light” to my employees and co-workers and clients through my attitude, work ethic, & generosity.

My internship while a student at AU opened all kinds of doors for me. Between my junior & senior year I was a tax intern at Ernst & Young in Indy. (more…)

Andy Brown, 2009 marketing grad

brownMy time at the Falls School of Business was great. The business school offers a unique atmosphere that allows students to thrive if they’re willing to work. My professors served as teachers, mentors and friends. Cindy Gibson was very instrumental in my growth and development while at Anderson. As an advisor, she put me in a position to succeed. As a professor, she prepared me for my career. As a mentor, she played a critical role in connecting me with internship opportunities. (more…)

John Reese, 2003 grad

reeseAs a new graduate in 2003, I began a career in Chicago with a Fortune 500 telecommunications company working with a diverse group of finance professionals from many different backgrounds. I realized the value of the education that I’d received when I saw how my skills stacked up against those of my colleagues.

Because of the Falls School of Business, I’ve been able to excel in each position that I’ve held. AU not only prepared me to handle the technical rigors of the job but taught me how to treat people. (more…)

Jennifer Stover Brogee, 1996 management grad

jennbI wear a few hats right now – I am co-owner of The Meeting Place on Market, a coffee house/ cafe in downtown Lima, Ohio, Chief Information Officer of myStaffingPro, a software company, and wife & mom of three wonderful & unique kids. Anyone who is a heartfelt follower of God is salt & light wherever they are, but I think the unique place God has called me to is encouraging economic development in the city of Lima, a “rust belt” city that has lost quite a bit of manufacturing business.
