The Anderson University students walk right into the kitchen after making the trip from campus. While tossing their coats over chairs by the door, they’re welcomed by hellos and questions about how they’ve been.
Water boys, personal trainers, and doctors are just several stereotypes associated with athletic trainers. Last February, four Anderson University students battled these stereotypes through a video submitted to the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA). The video won “Most Creative” in a competition between various athletic training programs from across the country.
One day before he addressed a group of Anderson University students, Mark Roesler was having lunch in warm, sunny Beverly Hills.

Anderson University recently announced that Susan Ellspermann, Lieutenant Governor of Indiana, will address the graduating class of 2014 during commencement exercises on Saturday, May 10. The 3 p.m. EDT program will be conducted in the Ward Fieldhouse of the Kardatzke Wellness Center. Speaking during Anderson University’s baccalaureate service will be Dr. David Markle, senior pastor of Park Place Church of God in Anderson, Ind.
