2005 AU alumnus and national recording artist Jon McLaughlin sang the National Anthem for the Indianapolis Colts' game on December 30 against the Jaguars.
McLaughlin recently performed his song “Industry” during halftime of the Indianapolis Colts game Sunday. The Colts played the San Diego Chargers in the AFC Divisional playoffs at the RCA Dome.
McLaughlin, 25, is a former Anderson resident and a graduate of Highland High School. He toured nationally in 2007 promoting his album “Indiana.” He was also recently featured in the new Disney film "Enchanted."
McLaughlin gave a concert at AU's homecoming last year in his first performance at AU since his graduation in 2005.
Alumna, Sandi Patty also sang the National Anthem when the Colts played the Titans on December 2.
Sandi Patty is a 2004 Gospel Music Hall of Fame inductee with 39 Dove Awards, five Grammy Awards, three RIAA-certified platinum and five gold recordings.
