The Falls School of Business (FSB) at Anderson University unveiled a new dynamic Web site today, Tuesday, Sept. 1. The new site, www.anderson.edu/falls, offers a distinctive new design that is easier to navigate while providing informative features on a variety of areas such as the undergraduate, MBA, and DBA programs along with new areas for current and prospective students, admissions, parents, and alumni.
"AU offers a rich, educational experience," said Terry Truitt, dean of the Falls School of Business. "The new Web site for the Falls School of Business is a bright, open window that showcases the high-impact, cutting-edge programs that are changing students' lives."
In addition to reorganizing information from the former FSB Web site, the new site also adds new pages including experiential learning opportunities; degree requirements; an in-depth look at the history of the FSB and faculty; and an FSB news, events, and testimonials section. Visually, the site graphics, embedded videos, color, and photography help guide users to learn more about the FSB.
According to Chris Williams, director of university communications, this second major Web site development for the Falls School of Business has brought tremendous growth in the communication technologies used on the site.
"We attempt to incorporate new tools into the site allowing users to more easily share content and keep up to date with the School of Business. The new FSB Web site provides more opportunity to reach out to students, alumni, and prospective students, and helps the university lift its profile," Williams said.
"The new Web site is an essential step in Anderson University boldly sharing the unique story of the Falls School of Business," said Wiese. "The Web site reflects a new level of connectivity between the FSB, prospective students, current students, and alumni. In the future, the Web site will be an important hub for information, relationships, and learning."
"The completion of the new redesign is successful due to the attention to detail, teamwork, and dedication between the FSB and University Communications," said Leiter. "While still focusing on the user, we are excited for the FSB with the extent of what the site brings to all constituents."
The mission of the Falls School of Business is to create an environment that will enable and encourage graduates to be professionally competent, ethically sensitive, and informed by the Christian ideal of servanthood. This mission is realized through a commitment to teaching excellence and genuine concern for each individual student, and is supported by a faculty commitment to continuous professional development and service to the community.
The redesigned Web site was developed in conjunction with Brainstorm, an Indianapolis firm, which has served as a partner with the university since 1998. The new site can be accessed at www.anderson.edu/falls.
