Anderson University unveiled a new design for the Admissions website on Wednesday, November 3. The new design, which may be accessed at www.anderson.edu/admissions/, incorporates the main institutional website brand while offering quick information for parents and students to apply, visit and connect with the Admissions office.
"We are very appreciative for the outstanding contributions from the Office of University Communications and the Office of Admissions in the conceptualization, design and implementation of a cutting-edge and user-friendly Admissions home page," said Dr. Michael Collette, vice-president for Marketing and Strategic Planning.
Focus groups provided valuable insight regarding the needs and wants of incoming students and aided in creating a vibrant website that authentically showcases both our supportive, Christ-centered community and our commitment to academic excellence. Areas available include a student blog, online video, checklists to inform families of the next step in the application process, how to choose a major, different visit day opportunities and a specific parents section.
The next step in the redesign process will be a new visit section coming online in the upcoming months.
"The Office of Admissions is excited to unveil their updated website that both mirrors the institutional brand and offers prospective students and their families ease of use and an authentic introduction to AU and the Admissions process," said Jill Cooper, assistant director of marketing and communication for Admissions.
"This new web interface helps the institution take an enormous stride in creating new brand identity for the university, and in providing to prospective students and families easy and clean access to the information and resources important to college choice decisions," said Collette.
The redesigned website was developed in conjunction with Brainstorm, an Indianapolis firm, which has served as a partner with the university since 1998.
