More details about charitable involvement, August 4th, and August 11th The Indianapolis Colts recognize the importance of having not-for-profit organizations involved in this year’s Training Camp. To that end, we are inviting (1) organization to table in Colts City during each day. Furthermore, the organization will have the opportunity to sell 20 oz. Dasani bottled water (provide by Coca-Cola) at $2 a piece. The organization will receive all the proceeds from their assigned day’s sales. This is a great opportunity for seven lucky organizations to share their mission and fundraise for future projects. Be sure to stop by the Cooling Station in Colts City to learn more about these groups and purchase your cold drink! Listed below are the organizations that will be present in Colts City.

  • August 2nd - Second Harvest Food Bank
  • August 4th - Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
  • August 6th - Alternatives Incorporated
  • August 7th - Anderson Public Library
  • August 10th - Youth Leadership Academy
  • August 11th - House of Hope
  • August 17th - United Way of Madison County

On August 4th, Colts City will host a "Battle of Bands." The following bands are scheduled to play sets: "Kids in the Way," "Olympians," and "Win with Willard" all out of Indianapolis, IN and "Mid-American" out of Westfield, Ind. Our host university and the Anderson community have a recognized musical history. We wanted to highlight and celebrate that with a special evening in Colts City!

On August 11th from 4 - 6 p.m., a free Play 60 Community Camp will be held at Macholtz Stadium. Youth ages 7-17 will have the opportunity to move through stations and test their football skills. Attendees will also have the opportunity to pick tips up from Anderson University football players as members of AU team will put kids through the paces at each station. Space is limited. No formal registration is required, but a parent or legal guardian will need to sign a waiver for the youth participant. Waivers may be obtained and signed at the Colts Information Tent located in Colts City starting on the morning of August 11th at 9 a.m. A waiver signed in advance does not guarantee a spot in the camp.

*NOTE: Practice times and length are subject to change.  Please log onto www.colts.com/events for the complete list of practice times for Training Camp and Colts City updates.
