Anderson University to host live webcast during Homecoming

Anderson University will offer a live webcast during Homecoming on Saturday, Oct. 22, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. EDT. The event, to be hosted by WQME 98.7 FM's Matt Rust, will feature conversations with AU alumni, staff, and faculty and will be shot on location along University Boulevard during the Homecoming Street Fair. Production support will be provided by Covenant Productions® and students from the Department of Communication Arts.

webcast10The webcast will be streamed on the Anderson University website during the event. To access the webcast, visit: Viewers may also join Facebook and Twitter discussions with other members of the AU community during the event. A link to those discussions will be provided on the webcast page.

"We are excited to provide a few hours of the Homecoming Street Fair to alums and friends through the web," said Chris Williams, director of university communications and community relations. "This online broadcast allows us to deliver a small snapshot of Homecoming to the computer screens of those who can't make it back to Anderson University. Log on between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to see shots from the Street Fair and, perhaps, a familiar face."
