Anderson University welcomes 555 new students to campus for the 2012-13 academic year. Today, new students arrived on campus to move-in to the residence halls for the start of New Student Orientation. A tradition at AU, staff, students and faculty volunteers greet families as they arrive.

Out of the 555 new students, 505 are freshmen and 50 are transfers. Of the freshmen, 303 are female with 202 male students. Twenty-five international students from 12 countries arrived for international orientation last week. For the 2012-13 academic year, 23 states are represented from the freshmen class. The incoming freshmen class is slightly larger than last year's incoming class.

Visit the website for more information on New Student Orientation. Photos from move-in day are available online on the official AU Flickr account.
