Stuart named Vice President for Finance and Treasurer

Dr. James L. Edwards, president of Anderson University, recently named Dana S. Stuart as vice president for finance and treasurer. In this new position, Stuart will become a member of the President’s Executive Staff and manage the areas and activities of the Business Office, Human Resources, Conference and Performance Events, and the Physical Plant.

Stuart most recently served the university as controller and treasurer. Prior to this assignment, she served as assistant treasurer and controller, director of receivables and investment accounting, and accounts receivable manager. Prior to working at AU, Stuart worked for Spectranetics in Colorado Springs, Colo., Alexandria House in Alexandria, Ind., and the Mass Communications Board of the Church of God.

Stuart’s experience, spanning 31 years, includes budget and financial strategic planning, financial management and analysis, audit administration, and investment analysis.

Stuart received a Bachelor of Arts from Anderson University in 1983 and the Master of Business Administration from the Falls School of Business in 2000. Stuart has served as a board member of Community Hospital Anderson and as a member of the Indiana Association of College and University Business Officers (IACUBO). She is a past musician and a past board member of the Anderson Symphony Orchestra as well as an accompanist and church musician for Park Place Church of God.
