[Editor's note: MUGS Coffee and Tea Company is a locally owned and operated Coffee Roaster and Specialty tea company with their teas originally purchased from a former Anderson University company named BourgeaTEA in November 2012. The company started in Anderson from scratch with the help of several investors and business partners, Chris Peterson (an Anderson University graduate) and Billy Dietz (the youngest certified tea specialist in the country through the Specialty Tea Institute and and soon to be an AU graduate).]
Sandwiched between a number of small shops, MUGS Coffee and Tea Company offers a variety of unique beverages like its signature chocolate peanut butter concoction. [Photo: Two of the shop's owners, Chris Peterson and Sky Huff.]
Made with premium coffee, this rich and specialty drink might have you looking for a Reese's wrapper after just one sip.
And that is just one of the reasons people are already raving about the new coffee shop on its Facebook page.
MUGS has been around for more than a year selling its coffees and teas, but this month the owners opened a coffee shop to feature its freshly brewed delicacies.
This week, the Herald Bulletin spoke with two of the shop owners, Sky Huff and Chris Peterson.
