Anderson University recently announced that Dr. James L. Edwards, President Emeritus, will address the graduating class of 2015 during commencement exercises on Saturday, May 9. The 3 p.m. EDT program will be conducted in the Ward Fieldhouse of the Kardatzke Wellness Center. Speaking during Anderson University’s baccalaureate service will be Rev. Dr. Diana L. Swoope, senior pastor at Arlington Church of God in Akron, Ohio.

It was through Orphan Outreach, a non-profit organization dedicated to reaching out to millions of at risk children, that Natalie Meliotes received the opportunity to travel to Russia for a month over the summer.

Students shoot video in Nicaragua
In August 2013, students from Covenant Productions® took a trip to Jinotepe, Nicaragua, to shoot a video for Children of Promise, a nonprofit organization.
The first Madison County Edcamp, hosted by Anderson University, joined the ranks of over 400 Edcamps that have been put on globally. Edcamps, also called unconferences, are free to anyone in the education field looking to further their teaching abilities by learning from other professionals in the area.
The Board of Trustees of Anderson University (Anderson, Ind.) is pleased to announce the election of John S. Pistole, J.D., as president-elect. Pistole’s appointment as president-elect of Anderson University was approved by the board of trustees during their fall meeting. Following ratification by the General Assembly of the Church of God (Anderson, Ind.) in June 2015, Pistole will be the fifth person in the nearly 100-year history of Anderson University to hold the position of president.
