AU to offer new program, courses, along with other changes

Anderson University is doing a lot in a short span to meet the needs and wants of the times.

The addition of an engineering program, along with new courses and other changes, is a part of the ongoing revitalization efforts in AU’s Strategic Plan, intended to strengthen academics, said Director of Communications Chris Williams.

AU student Lindsey Caroll returns to Jamaica

Lindsey Carroll started her day in the middle of a hot, humid Jamaican summer in the mountain town of Mandeville. The Anderson University student toiled in the home of a woman who works relentlessly each day on projects for her local church and orphanage. But this day was different. This day a group of high school students sweated next to her in a home without the cooling presence of air conditioning, painting rooms and completing other work projects around the house.

Honors seniors share projects at Scholars' SOAR

Scholar’s Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration weekend (SOAR) is always an exciting weekend for the prospective scholar students at Anderson University. This year, however, they had extra cause for anticipation: the seniors of the Honors Program each presented their seminar projects at SOAR for the first time in the program’s history.
