More than 40 Anderson University undergraduate students presented research during the 4th annual AU Scholars' Day on April 30. The event featured poster presentations from a wide range of academic disciplines at AU.

Anderson University is looking ahead to a full slate of classes offered this summer for interested students. AU will offer more than 290 classes that provide flexibility and variety. Sessions provide both introductory and advanced courses on campus for specific majors and enrichment purposes. Classes began May 13 and end August 23.
Three Anderson University alumni have been named recipients of Lilly Endowment Teacher Creativity Fellowships. Kyle Hopkins BA '08, Joe Rushton BA '82, and Josh Southard MME '09 are among the 100 K-12 Indiana teachers, principals, guidance counselors, and school librarians to be honored with fellowships in 2013.
A group of five Anderson University students and alumni have started an English as a second language (ESL) program in the Anderson, Ind., community. The students who worked to establish the program have different backgrounds, but they all have the common desire to serve the community around them. By combining their unique skills and experiences, they are giving back and growing a relationship with the Anderson community.
