The Anderson University School of Theology has expanded its Online Master of Arts in Christian Ministry degree to include four new areas of specialization: pastoral ministry, student ministry, church planting, and Christian worship.
The Anderson University School of Theology was reaccredited last spring by the Association of Theological Schools for the maximum of ten years through the fall of 2018.
Dr. Walter Froese, church historian and retired professor from Anderson University, was born in Germany and lived there for 12 years before being forced from his home in 1939. His family then immigrated to Canada where he attended high school and later returned to teach high school before being invited to teach at the college level. In the meantime he studied at the University of Chicago with his wife Gerta Leicht. They both grew up in the Church of God; however, Dr.
The 2010 Harp Professor in Residence for the Anderson University School of Theology will be Dr. Wendy Porter, director of worship and music, McMaster Divinity College, Ontario, Canada. Porter will be on the Church of God seminary campus April 11-15, 2010.
