Statements of Compliance
Anderson University is a not-for-profit exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. In compliance with the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and 1991, and Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972, the university does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, sex or veteran status in its policies, practices or procedures.
The university maintains a policy of non-discrimination on the basis of disability in its educational programs, admissions procedures and its employment practices, in compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
The university is committed to providing for employee safety and health, and right-to-know laws under the provisions of the 1970 Occupational Safety and Health Act.
The university maintains compliance with the Drug Free Schools and Campuses Act of 1989 and the Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988. The student's right of privacy in regard to disclosure of personal data is assured in conformity with existing legislative requirements.
