AU named one of Best Colleges in Indiana

Anderson University was ranked on a list of the Best Colleges in Indiana by BestColleges.com, a leading provider of higher education information and resources.

“Choosing what college to attend is a big decision,” said Dr. Marie Morris, provost at Anderson University. “What was important in my own college decision and that of my sons was finding a school that did more than just teach knowledge and skills. A ‘best college’ is where the faculty and staff are real, where the tough questions of life can be talked about, where God is big enough to guide one through the perplexities of life, and where there is the kind of community of learning where you can both fail and excel. At Anderson University I get to experience a ‘best college’ experience every day and am awed each year by the accomplishments of our graduates.”

BestColleges.com’s rankings use a methodology grounded in statistical data compiled from the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System and College Navigator, both of which are hosted by the National Center for Education Statistics. They aim to objectively assess relative quality based on academic outcomes, affordability, and the breadth and depth of online learning opportunities.

“The Best Colleges in Indiana ranking is intended to inform and guide prospective students toward institutions in the state that provide a quality education while focusing on meaningful learning opportunities until graduation,” says Stephanie Snider, general manager at BestColleges.com. “Anderson University is certainly a top school within the state of Indiana and in the confines of this ranking as displayed by their impressive range of academic programs and rich campus life.”
